USE with CAUTION
I am sure this applies to ALL gas suppliers who charge an early termination fee, so use caution when choosing a company that does charge an early termination fee. I received a notice in the mail from Ohio Natural Gas saying my plan was about to expire. After checking the Apples to Apples site I found a company that was less expensive and did not charge an early termination fee, so I signed up with the new company. It was my understanding that it could take 1-2 billing cycles for the change to take place, so I felt I was safe. Guess again. The switch happen a couple weeks before the end of the contract, and I just got a bill in the mail for a $75.00 early termination fee from Ohio Natural Gas. Buyer beware, if you choose a different provider and have an early termination fee associated with your old contract BE SURE it does not take effect until after your current contract is over, because this company will not give you any grace, or forgiveness. The only option offered to me was to change back to Ohio Natural Gas as my provider, which I chose not to do so that I won't have to continually worry about the early termination fee issue. It was my mistake, but it won't happen again. ONE way to avoid this problem is to choose a company that does not charge an early termination fee. I was told that all of Ohio Natural Gas six and 12-month contracts have them. Look for a company that doesn't charge an early termination fee, even if they charge a tiny tad more per ccf, because one little mistake, like mine, and any savings will be lost by having to pay an early termination fee. |

Illegal doubling of rates
Having dealt with ONG before, I signed up for a 3 month contract for natural gas. The first month's bill was correct but the last 2 bills were double the rate I signed for , so I went to another company after the contract was over. Now they claim I left the plan early and turned us over to a collection agency. |

Over charging our account at a .84
They have been taken off our account already but still showing that we owe 103.60 while our gas bill shows a total of 39.87 so why is it that frontier is over charging us still and not taken off my gas bill supplier. I will not recommend this company for anyone around the United states due to falsely lying saying we be at a .4 but on my bill your rating us at a.8. These people are fake providers who make your Bill's go up and wont help. Thank you for letting me down and lying |

Terrible customer service
Do not do business with them. I signed up for a fixed six month plan , which went as planned. However, once the plan went over the six months they raised their price by 87%. When I signed up with them they said their variable rate after the plan ends would be slightly higher than the fixed rate (that was a total lie). When I talked to customer service recently they again said their variable rate was slightly higher than their fixed rate. 87% increase is not a slight increase!! When pointed that out the customer service person had no idea how the variable rate works, could not even quote the variable rate. Talk to a supervisor and she had no idea how they bill their variable rate, too! They have a bunch of dopes running the company. |
