Bait & switch scam
| I signed up for Shipley energy. They claim they sent me a letter stating that my contract was going to expire. I never received it. When my contract expired they tripled my rate. Beware of this disreputable supplier | |||

Did not keep their word
| I discovered Shipley on Apples to Apples. Signed up for a 12-month agreement. After completing the agreement, I asked a question and was answered with a nasty reply. Just thought she was having a bad day. Then I asked when the contract would end and she couldn't answer the question so I asked to be transfered to a supervisor who told me the correct day was 2/13/26. She also had a bad attitude. I overlooked it. In November of 2025 I received a notice saying my contract would end on 1/30/26. I called and was told what I was given at the inception of the contract was wrong. Then they sent a paper contract with outrageous prices to continue. I would highly recommend that their name be removed from Ohio Apples to Apples. They are not trustworthy. Their word means nothing. | |||
