Good at the beginning!
I had received a phone call in the beginning from a windy sales rep. They off course had their spill of all the good things they could help us with. We tried them! That was in December 2017. For the first three months everything was fine. Their rate was slightly lower than AEP. I didn't mind that. The last three months were a different story. The bills were higher but I dismissed the higher bills to the weather at the time. It was my billing period for May that shook me. It was the second highest bill that I had ever received. Initially I thought okay it's the weather. We basically went from winter to summer. I had to use the A/C early. As time grew closer to paying the bill, I thought about all the things that could have shot this bill up so high. That's when I thought I'd better look at the billing statement. I was floored when I seen the difference between what AEP's rate was compared to Palmco. It was doubled! It had been for the last three months. We called Palmco immediately and cancelled! Their response was we didn't have a locked rate. What a response from a company who was so eager to have our business! Never again! |
