Broken Promise and attempts to repeat if I renew
| Smart Energy called me and offered me a $200 gift card if I stayed with the company at least six months. At the six month bill I sent it to the company showing Smart Energy as my supplier as I was asked to do. I never received the $200 gift card. Fast-forward to six months later when its time to renew, I called the company to inquire about upcoming rates. The service rep immediately looked at my account and said oh I see you havent got your $200 gift card. Then he said they would process the $200 gift card if I renew with the company. I flat out refused and told him I would not do business with a company who does not respect their customers enough to keep the promises they made. This was a very disappointing and underhanded interaction with smart energy. In addition they raised my rate during the contract. I will report this to PUCO. This unjust behavior needs to be exposed. | |||

Twice I have had an appointment for a consultant to telephone me but no one called.
This has been very inconvenient and a waste of my time. This does not reflect well on this company. |

This is a scam PLEASE BE AWARE
| Two years ago these people came knocking on my door. If their BS lies. My utility bill came up to $500. Normally I pay close to $60 a month. When I called them to cancel. They told me that they will. They also blamed me for my bill being up high by using too much energy. Like are you kidding me. I know how much I use a month. Crazy part I'm a single more on disability that had a disable needs child. I feel for they bS and I'm still paying for it. Now I'm on pipp with a $1600 bill because they waited after a year to end with their company. Now they coming around every other month and I be cussing they butts out. I had to put a Don't trespass on private property to keep these scammers from knocking on my door. THEY WILL EVEN TELL YOU ONCE YOU ASK IF THEY ARE SUPPLIERS... THEY WILL SAY NO THEY ARE NOT THAT THEY ARE SENT IN THE AREA TO GO TO PEOPLE THAT BING ON THERE COMPUTER. IM TELL YALL WATCH OUR FOR ALL SUPPLIES AND DONT FALL FOR THAT GIFT CARD YOU WILL BE PAYING MORE THEN THAT GIFE CARD AND YOU WILL NVER EVER GET IT | |||
