Terrible company, think twice before switching to them...
“ Think Energy has very very poor customer service. Phone wait times can be up to an hour, or they never pick up the phone. They do not return calls or emails for customers like myself to resolve billing issues and overcharges. They lie about sending out notices when your contract expires. I never received notice of 3 yr ending contract and they increased my rate from .11 kw to .19 kw without any notification. When you finally reach a service rep they are not able to help you as they always say I will send your issue to my supervisor. This never occurs as I have never gotten any mail, emails or phone calls from anyone within Think Energies company. MA Energy department should ban Think from doing business in our state. ”

My experience with direct energy
“ Highly upset with Direct Energy! After being a loyal customer for 9 years you would think they would do everything possible to keep you as a customer for another 9 years... I have never missed or paid late, however, for some reason my payment did not go through in August. Direct energy did not make me aware of this. I log into my account in September and i am in disbelief on the amount amount owed. I contact them directly and come to find out, i submitted a payment with an old debit card on file. Ok, i get it, my mistake. They set me up on a payment plan for an additional $84 per month and i should be caught up in February of 2025. Well, i logged into my account for November and my bill came out to $504. After all the years i have been with Direct Energy i have never received a bill so high. So again, i call them and the person i spoke with informed me that she has reversed a late fee notice and to submit a payment in the amount of $454. I submitted my payment and now my power is off because they stated she was not authorized to remove the fee and i did a partial payment. I informed them that i only submitted the payment they required me to submit. I liked having direct energy, obviously, i have been with Direct Energy for 9 years, however, they have lost a loyal customer! ”

No billing.
“ You took our business but have not sent out any bills. We're still paying the electric and gas companies themselves. Then you send some type of bills to your collection agency. Still determining if this company is actually a scam. ”

SCAM on Fixed to Variable Rates
“ This company will offer short-term teaser fixed rates and then cheat you on the change to a variable rate. There is no transparency online to see variable rates. When our fixed-rate contract changed to a variable rate, this company instantly more than TRIPLED the price over the Ohio PUCO SCO default rate and much more than TRIPLED what we had been paying. ”
