Compare the Best Natural Gas Suppliers in Massillon

Have not had major issues, prices were ok but made mistake of accepting 3 year plan. Bad timing on my part I guess since rate at time I initiated plan was 13.6/kwh. Nothing I could with a $300+ cancellation fee once rates dropped significantly. Not worth cancelling and changing. Will look at other companies to try to improve rate for a while and make up some of what I have lost with this higher rate I got stuck with. Not afraid to switch and may even consider staying if rate is reasonalbe on month to month but it doesn't look like they are beating others or even close even on 3 or 6 month plans Startex appears too high compared to others. Customer service ok and have not had problems on a few occasions when late over the last 2 years.

Signed up today! Rep was very helpful! even gave me a promo code to save 10 dollars on next bill! Locked in a rate of 9.4 KWH for 9 months.The rep was very clear about the fees, which are close to none! Will continue to use this provider! Thanks Startex!

The benefits of choice are clear when you work with StarTex Power. I didn't realize how good I had it until I moved away. But from start to finish, and at every point in between, StarTex went above and beyond to deliver competitive prices and excellent customer service. I was most impressed when a VP picked up to answer a billing question. You just don't find that service elsewhere. I miss having the option to choose a power company. But if I ever make it back to Texas, StarTex is the choice for me!

My contract with StarTex is about up and I have been searching for a cheaper provider. However, after reading the reviews for these companies I realize that the bargains come at a cost, customer service and reliability, both of which I have found to be excellent with StarTex. StarTex's prices are about average, but at least I know I won't have any battles with these folks!

I was on a rate plan until this July and was very happy. I did not enter another because I knew I would be buying a home and was worried about breaking a contract. Even though I have been going month to month my bill has been good. Unfortunately I am forced to shop for another company because the new rate plans are very high. I have not had any issues, I love that I can go online and pay, and my bills were decent. They no longer offer any rate plans that are priced decent. I did try to call customer service to see if I could get a lower rate as a loyal customer but no luck.....so I will shop and read reviews until I find another company

Very easy to get started with, we lived in an apartment for 2 years where electricity was provided. They switched us over promply (we bought a home)and there was no deposit required. I like the option for signing a 6 mo. contract at very competitive rates.

I've lived in Texas for almost three years now, and am still in shock over how low my electricity bill is. At first, I had inadvertently signed up for an adjustable rate, (Clueless because in Florida, you do NOT have a choice where power is concerned; on rate, or company.)and when I realized this, all it took was one phone call to get it fixed, at a great rate. No hassle, whatsoever.
I've never had any problem at all with the actual service either. The power has gone off a couple of times with weather, or whatever, but it was always right back on in no time.
A friend, whose house is smaller than mine, was paying more than three times as much as I do for power. She didn't believe me. I literally had to show her my bill. She's a StarTex Power customer too, now! (Smart meter my foot.)
I will absolutely refer people to StarTex Power whenever the opportunity presents itself.

I like the customer service that I receive from this provider. I have had two other companies and this is a step above them. Not much that you can say about utility companies, except how much they drain your wallet. But StarTex gives you ease of payment options (no service charges for Visa/MC) and great customer service.

Current customer for one year and now up for renewal. Their rates are still competative after a year and have had no issues in the past year. I will renew with StarTex - why change a good thing?

We have been with Titan for a few years now and never had an issue. Today we renewed our contract for a rate that is even lower than what we had. I spoke with Jessica on the phone and she was extremly helpful. I'm shocked to see all of these reviews.

I have been with TriEagle for 5 years. They are a good company which charges reasonable prices and provides meaningful information. However, their customer service is sorely lacking. Sometimes it is extremely difficult to reach them, and frequently when you do the agents are not terribly knowledgeable. It can be very frustrating to deal with them. Fortunately one doesn't need to confer with an electricity provider that often, but when one does it is usually important. So I am reluctantly leaving them, at least for the moment.

At first I was only going to do a 1 star review but, after speaking with an agent, they were able to correct my rate and renew me at an even better one. Big thanks to Shay for fixing my account. She took the time to explain to me what happened. 5 stars

I never knew unlimited electricity for one flat fee was a possibility. But I'm loving it. Its 89 and humid outside, and its 68 degrees in here. No cost per kilowatt just one flat rate every month. Fabulous!

We decided to switch to Titan Gas And Power when we moved in May of 2017 and we are extremely pleased with our choice. Their online customer service is excellent. Their rates are awesome compared to our previous supplier. Now our bill is $125 in the summer as opposed to nearly $300!!! Customer service has been easy to work with as well you can call or email. We have called 3 times. First to set up the account, Second to add a location and Third for a quick billing question, and they are always polite. So far, we are very happy with Titan Gas And Power and how easy it is to work with him. I recommend them.

At first I was really upset that my rate went up. I contacted Titan and spoke to a young lady named Shay. She took the time to explain to me what happened. It was my fault, I let my contract expire and that is why my rate went up. Titan was able to get me a rate that was close to what I had before.

My account was switched over to Titan Gas and Power and I was furious! I never signed up for them. I called as soon as I realized and found out that my account was rolled over by the electric company and NOT Titan. The utility does this when you are on the consumer plan? Titan gave me the choice to officially sign with them or to go to some one else. They even let me know the prices of thier competition. I received a letter from the utility a few days later explaining what happened. I decided to stay with Titan. The rate is lower and they were so nice to explain what happened.

The setup was fast and seamless. They have really reasonable rates for prepaid plans. There is no contract or deposit. Love the free nights being that that is when. I am home the most. Would recommend to anyone that wants to save money

I love this company and have saved tons of money by switching to them as gas and electric supplier. They helped to cut the supply portion of my bill clean in half. I recommend talking to them if they give you call.

I had somebody come over and talked me into getting Vista Energy. Their reps turned out to be really good so I made the change. They said they were gonna help me out. They provide good service. Its just that I needed to get my bill so that I can pay it. I havent received the bill. They told me I was paying way too much and they could do better for me.

Vista Energy Marketing is the same as my past provider and they are both good, but Vista had a good price. I did things online and it was a good site. Vista also provides a good service.

Vista Energy is good. Because of the Lowes gift card that they offered me, I went with them. They explained everything well and everything that I needed to know about the energy. Their price is pretty well fair. I leave my aircon on a little longer because its hot and they kinda helped me cut my electric down a little bit and it got cheaper on me. I enjoy the service and I would like to continue on with it. If somebody asks about it, I would tell them about it and to get the energy.

At first I was skeptical, but 8 months have passed and I've saved money on my bill each month. The gentleman that came to my door was very professional an well dressed with clear visible I'd and attire with company name logo etc. I normally dont talk with door salesman but this time I'm glad I did. Nice to see a reduction in our electric bill. Have only received one bill to date. My biggest peeve was with Direct Energy. 3 clowns come out and DEMAND to see my CenterPoint confirmation letter and rates. Stated we couldn't make the switch without their approval. They blocked my handicap ramp entrance and looked like bouncers. I actually had to push through them because they would not let me through to get back in my house and still they kept banging on the door. I watched them go door to door using the same same tactics Thumbs down on Direct Energy!

The change was easy to complete on my side but takes too long. For only a paperwork change it took two months and I did not benefit from the better pricing when we needed. I might have lost and savings I would see for months.

Somehow the wrong account number was sent to my gas company. When I called to correct it, the girl said that she wasn't sure if they could honor the $2.39 promotional price as it had ended but to hold on & she would see what she could do. I was on hold for quite a while & when she got back on the line, said that the request had to keep going up the line & eventually she got the okay to extend the $2.39 rate to me.

I called to inquire about Santanna rates for my new home and was not only impressed by the low low rate....but the warm and courteous representative I spoke with was very impressive and sold me on Santanna.

I am sure this applies to ALL gas suppliers who charge an early termination fee, so use caution when choosing a company that does charge an early termination fee. I received a notice in the mail from Ohio Natural Gas saying my plan was about to expire. After checking the Apples to Apples site I found a company that was less expensive and did not charge an early termination fee, so I signed up with the new company. It was my understanding that it could take 1-2 billing cycles for the change to take place, so I felt I was safe. Guess again. The switch happen a couple weeks before the end of the contract, and I just got a bill in the mail for a $75.00 early termination fee from Ohio Natural Gas. Buyer beware, if you choose a different provider and have an early termination fee associated with your old contract BE SURE it does not take effect until after your current contract is over, because this company will not give you any grace, or forgiveness. The only option offered to me was to change back to Ohio Natural Gas as my provider, which I chose not to do so that I won't have to continually worry about the early termination fee issue. It was my mistake, but it won't happen again. ONE way to avoid this problem is to choose a company that does not charge an early termination fee. I was told that all of Ohio Natural Gas six and 12-month contracts have them. Look for a company that doesn't charge an early termination fee, even if they charge a tiny tad more per ccf, because one little mistake, like mine, and any savings will be lost by having to pay an early termination fee.

I always look at the Apples to Apples report for an idea as to which company offers the best price for the money. This company is the best for Akron Ohio, so it was easy to select. It was also easy to fill out an application on line, so I am relieved that I made a good choice with Constellation.

I was looking at several listings till I found Tomorrow Energy. It was an easy path to changing from my former company to Tomorrow Energy. A great choice for price and ordering.

Happy the first go around with CenterPoint however, when I received my re-up letter, the rates were 3.5 to 3.6. I found a much lower fixed rate2.7 from another supplier. You need o find savings where you can as the supplier charge is the only thing you can impact as all other charges on your bill are fixed and out of your control.

I Received my renewal notice, and compared prices, only to find Direct energy was more than some others for the same one year, no fee,no cancellation charge,plan. Based on that I checked with them and found that was the best they could do, but I was offered a $100.00 gift card, which made up the difference. That sweetener, sealed the deal, for me.

I picked CenterPoint from the OH Energy Ratings and found it to have the best price. So far everything is going as it should.

I signed up for CenterPoint Energy months ago but am still being charged by my old service. Hopefully the CenterPoint service will be on my next bill. If not, I'll have to contact you about it. Maybe you could check it out for me.

I signed up with some guy in Walmart. I usually don't stop at those kind of things but he seemed so happy i had to see what it was all about. I signed up before thanksgiving. First bill i saved a few dollars. I noticed a difference when my bill went from $220 down to $175. I saw these reviews and noticed everyone saying the same thing. The very few writing 5 star reviews are satisfied with NRG's service. Call and keep the program. Everyone wants to write a bad review when something doesn't go their way. Nobody writes a good review, when it meets their expectations.
