Compare AEP Ohio PTC Rates
You might be wondering how much you pay if you stick with PTC rates? Right now, AEP Ohio customers pay 10.12 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh). You could also save with the Public Power Electric 12 Month Fixed Rate WITH MRC plan. This plan charges 9.3 cents per kWh with a $14.95 MRC, which equals about $93 in supply charges. While this matches the July PTC rate, it's important to remember that PTC rates tend to rise during the winter. So this plan could beat winter rates in 2027.
