New customer, question about possible plan bait n switch
“ First things first, both reps I spoke with during the hour I was on the phone were professional and very courteous. I believe Constellation did what they could to "fix" the issue for which I called (read on).Today is the first day of my relationship with Constellation so I have no feedback other than the phone reps handled my issue to my satisfaction. I am happy to update my review if possible when I have some time with Constellation under my belt.I signed up for a plan with decent rates, $0.00 monthly charges. The "thank you" email I received from Constellation showed the exact plan BUT with 3.49 monthly fee. I spent an hour on the phone with Constellation, 2 reps. First rep said the $3.49 is an Oncor fee (I get that, but the plan said $0.00). The second rep apologized for the confusion and credited my account $10 and took the URL I used to select them and promised to send to marketing folks.I was told that every plan will have an Oncor charge, and I believe that. I would not have a problem with this if the Constellation plan I selected did not show $0.00.The hour spent with Constellation on this weekday cost me more than the total I will pay them for the $3.49 charge over the couse of this plan term. But, in my experience, when one thing is wrong then other things are probably wrong - I have no reason to think that... yet. ”

Prior customer for 5 years
“ I recently changed energy providers, but I was mostly satisfied with GME during those years. It was great to see how they have expanded to more states and how much their website improved. I was always very appreciative that there was a "green" energy provider in Tx. I didn't mind paying a little more pkw. I enjoyed their convenient bill pay, no hidden fees, friendly customer service reps, and the overall experience. I finally switched because I was able to find a more competitive rate but sad to say they are not "green." If things don't work out with this provider I will probably return to GME. Thank you. ”

I did ask to speak to the lady I talked to on July 12 but according to my history their was no name of the person I called I find that hard to believe ”

No energy generation and transmission company is your friend
“ Titan's introductory rate was good. But like many of the energy generation and transmission companies out there, they hope you forget about them and just keep paying your bill. Then they drastically increase the rate and "stick it to ya," just like so many other providers. Don't forget. Research your energy supplier options, be wary of variable rates, enrollment fees, early termination penalties, daily/monthly "service" fees, etc. Switch to the lowest overall priced provider and set an electronic calendar reminder or make an entry in your day/month/year planner to revisit energy provider options before your term expires. Then make a selection and switch before your "current" provider has a chance to raise rates on you. You owe no loyalty to disloyal providers like Titan Gas & Power. It's not personal; it's business ($). Wash, rinse, repeat. ”
