Unclear Representation Of Pricing Details
I signed up with Center Point Energy in June 2020.
The following month I received notice of a name change to Symmetry Energy Solutions, LLC.
At the time I initially signed up I thought I was getting a fixed rate of $2.50/MCF.
On the paper I recieved in the mail it showed a "Managed Rate" of $2.50/MCF.
My Dominion Gas bill is paid thru my checking account.
I reviewed my bills today and noticed the rate was $2.75/MCF, which is different from the $2.50/MCF that I thought I'd signed up for in June.
I contacted Symmetry today to inquire about the difference and was told that
I had contracted for their "Managed Rate" and not the Fixed Rate.
I have to accept the resposibility for this, although it was not clear
at the time I signed up.
As they say "caveat emptor". ”
