Beware your renewal!
“ I'm with others who have mentioned that if you miss your renewal - and they send ONE piece of snail mail about that (if you even get it - I didn't) - Town Square can (and WILL) charge to any rate they want. You'll then call frantically, only to find out it will take ~2 billing cycles to get you on a new plan with a reasonable rate. Town Square charged me 70% over National Grid's rates when this happened to me, costing me hundreds of dollars. There should be a cap on what they can charge, but they have carte blanche and there's nothing you can do about it. So make sure you know your renewal date, and mark your calendar ~3 full months in advance of it to choose a new plan/rate. If not for this egregious price gouging, I'd give them a great review. But my renewal experience was so awful I'd never recommend Town Square to anyone as a new customer. ”

Would NOT Recommend
“ I signed up for Direct Energy as my electrical power supplier. All went super well until my term came to an end. Typically, you just find the least expensive provider and sign up and you can automatically switch, not with Direct Energy. I had to call in to cancel and apparently it will take 1 to 2 billing cycles until it goes through. So now I can't shop for a better price because they haven't "released" me. Just isn't a great way to do business. ”

Not Sure
“ Although I switched for cost savings, I still have no idea if I have saved money! I guess I would have to go to my old billing and new billing and do math... if you could record my last provider costs and then say you have saved $x.xx by switching to Symmetry... That would excite me ”

Slow transition
“ Signed up for gas service on 12/4. I have experienced 2 billing cycles now with no change is price. Still billed by my previous supplier. ”

My experience
“ It's really too soon to really tell if they are going to save me any money or not, since my billing cycle hasn't switched over yet. ”

ENROLLMENT WAS EASY
“ So far, I have just enrolled with Energy Harbor - which was easy to do. Have not yet encountered my first billing cycle. ”

Disconnected
“ Simple. Disconnected me for $56.25 for 3 hrs lol. Hot temp here in Addison Tx Friday thru the Midday, (no less). Ended up paying $79 & change instead of adding it to the next billing cycle. Definitely switching back to previous provider. Not even worth it if u have 2 steal from your consumers Ey?. ”
