Please note that Clearview Energy plans may renew into a variable month-to-month product if you don’t cancel or switch at the end of the plan’s term length. You can cancel, with no early cancel fee by responding to either of the notices you’ll receive 75 and 30 days before the term length ends.
On the other hand, you could lock in with the Public Power Electric 12 Month Fixed Rate WITH MRC plan. This plan charges 8.4 cents per kWh with a $14.95 MRC. This means paying about $86 in average monthly supply charges.
To be sure, customers may be able to enjoy long term savings over the Illuminating Company PTC rate with these plans. But keep in mind that the actual switch doesn’t go through until your next meter read.
